Our HRSG Services improve plant efficiency, guaranteed.

History.

Vogt Power International Inc. is a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs), Selective Catalytic Reduction Systems, Simple Cycle Exhaust Systems, and HRSG Services for use in power generation, co-generation, enhanced oil recovery, and combined heat and power.

Founded in 1880 by Henry Vogt as the Henry Vogt Machine Company, Vogt entered the boiler business in 1902 in order to provide a heat source for its ammonia absorption refrigeration machine (or ice machine).

Vogt’s Heat Transfer division evolved from the manufacturing of gas, oil, and coal-fired boilers, to the production of industrial-size HRSGs designed to recover and recycle heat from gas turbine exhaust and pave the way by introducing a history of “firsts.”

Quality.

We understand that quality must be integrated into every element of our business. We strive to perpetually improve the customer experience by facilitating the continuous improvement of Vogt quality. Whether it’s an initial plant inspection, an installation, or after-sales care for parts and services, quality makes the difference between average operation and efficient and profitable results. It all comes down to discipline. At Vogt, our Quality Program guarantees this discipline—at all corporate levels—is in place to deliver what our client expects, consistent with all specifications, codes, standards and delivery schedules.

Our comprehensive Quality Program is built upon three united pillars. Compliance is issued with certification processes including the ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Certification Process, and jurisdictional requirements such as ASME, PED Conformity Assessment Certifications, and specific customer requirements. Compliance is assured using manuals, system procedures, documented records, a deviation management system, periodic internal auditing, system training and customer audits. Procedures are carefully monitored throughout proposal, project, and shop-order specific contract review activities, and includes inspections, tests, subcontractor documentation procedures, and the assignment of Quality Verification of compliance is reported with all Vogt Power Quality Planning documents. We have invested in our quality infrastructure to include domestic and international quality and supplier management programs along with improved activities in our own factories. We review inspections, surveillance data, subcontractor submittals, and project document packages and records. Vogt Power International’s Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2015 certified which includes: design, produce, supply and install components in the field of energy technology.

The drive to maintain the highest levels of quality performance on behalf of our customers has long since been engrained into our culture. In fact, it’s one of the main reasons that we have proudly earned high volumes of repeat business from so many high-quality customer companies year after year. From the top executives to each individual at each job site understands that their main goal is to deliver what our client contracts for—consistent with all specifications, codes, standards, and delivery schedules, as well as always meeting or exceeding the highest expectations. With all required ASME certifications in place, as well as our recent earning of an upgraded ISO 9001:2015 certification, we have codified our beliefs into a formal Quality Policy.

Quality Policy.

Vogt Power International is committed to compliance and improvement of our Quality System. Our goal is Complete Customer Satisfaction through Teamwork and Understanding.

Further, we have adopted a series of six metrics, and continually track, measure, and report on our performance against each.

Safety.

Maintaining a high level of safety is not just an outstanding indicator of a well-run operation, it is simply the right thing to do for any business. Vogt has an ethical stewardship responsibility for the well-being of each and every individual working at every location and at every job site, and it shows in the way we operate.
